Person Interview

I decided to interview a lady named Dee Mitchell that is the manager of Hayden Sports in downtown Durham. As well as being the manager at Hayden Sports Mrs. Mitchell is also the manager of the Outback Restaurant in Dover, which also happens to be her hometown. Before these jobs though Mrs. Mitchell was an elementary school teacher for fifteen years.
At her home in Dover, New Hampshire Mrs. Mitchell raised three children: two girls and one boy who are all now grown up. These days she enjoys gardening, biking, and walks. Mrs. Mitchell's store Hayden Sports has been a go to for UNH students looking for any type of UNH attire you can think of including hats, shorts, pants, shirts among many other things.

Still Photography

I enjoyed taking still photographs as I tried to challenge myself to come up with images that would grab someone's eye and make them think about what I was trying to relay in the picture. My goal was to take a picture that would catch my own eye because I am one of many people who usually just jump right into a story without paying much attention to the picture that goes with it. Again I don't consider this my field of expertise, but enjoyed trying to come up with some good pictures and enhance my ability in doing such things and thus making me a much more appealing job applicant.

Thoughts on Multimedia

After the first day of class I am both anxious as well as nervous to begin the course. On one hand I am excited to get started and learn more tools that I will need for my trade in the real world. On the other hand I am nervous because I don't consider myself a very technological person and often get frustrated with such things. Overall though I hope I surprise myself and learn as much as I can in video, photography, and multimedia in general.
